Sanja Knezevic
About:
Sanja Knezevic is a documentary photographer based in her hometown of Belgrade. She specialized in social documentary photography, focusing on human rights issues, cultural diversity, and documenting protests and citizens’ struggles for freedom under repressive regimes. Her work highlights marginalised communities—such as Roma, individuals facing poverty, those battling addiction, and at-risk children. Through her lens, she aims to bring attention to their stories and struggles, using photography as a tool for advocacy and change.

From 2012, Sanja spent several years living in one of the most vibrant countries in the world – Indonesia.
